Last July 17,2010 I was privileged to attend the Kraft Cheez Whiz Palamantasan.
A school eliminations was held in Buhangin Elementary School.

with Ms. Alma Buenviaje, Events Management and Press Coordinator.
Since it's almost 12:00noon my stomach start to grumble.
I said to my Co-blogger Leah. "May libre bang lunch" (Is there free lunch?")
But I think Leah don't know either.
Coz she didn't utter anyway words. :-)
But my question was answered as we arrive in Buhangin Elementary School.
They serve us delicious dishes,cook with Kraft Cheez Whiz.
At 1st I don't realize how important and meaningful the Event was.
But reality pitch my head off...haha..
My head kinda heavy at that time,because I slept so late at 5am in the Morning.

I realize I'm like those kids in PALAMANTASAN.
Trying to do my best in a short span of time. :-)
According to Leah my co-blogger they practice only one week.
Not bad they do their BEST.
The program start around 1:00pm.
With an open prayer express with interpretive dance.

Ms. Alma Buenviaje, the head organizer of the event informed us that the Palamantasan school eliminations is a nationwide activity of Kraft Foods in cooperation with Dep Ed. Ms. Buenviaje also informed us,that a similar activity is happening in Cebu at the same.

Campaign to raise awareness about Nutrition Education would be done through various creative outlets through a nationwide inter-school competition.
This campaign will run till September 2010.
Buhangin Elemntary School ang pinakaunang iskwelahan dito sa Davao City para sa ganitong activity. Si Mr. Arturo dela Cruz, principal sa nasabing iskwelahan "He said school was static for the privilege of having his school chosen for this event.

Mr. Paulo Serrano Di tayo nalalayo sa Africa in terms of malnutrition and will most likely suffer the way they are suffering now pag-ito ay di nasusolutionan. Kaya ito ang naisip ng Kraft Food.Napakagandang hangarin,para sa ating mga mamayang Pilipino.Sana ito ay magtuloy-tuloy na.Kailangan talaga mainform ang mga kababayan natin sa tamang nutrition.Kahit ako aminado ako na di ko nakakain,pati ang pamilya ko ng tamang nutrition.Minsan sa bahay,pabarito ang tuyo na may kamatis,or pritong gulay sa umaga.Di naman yong nakapagbibigay ng tamang nutrition sa ating katawan if araw-araw na.Mayaman naman tayo sa prutas at gulay,pero minsan sa life style natin always on the go.Kahit anong makain okey na....Kaya mas mainam na laging merong nagpapaalala sa atin. I remember the cheering compositions that I join in our school when I'm still in Elementary.Mmmm.....I remember those days...Even if under the Sun,and dusky field.... Kraft Food Philippines states that “School is the second home where the children learn basic lessons and values”. This is precisely the reason why nutrition education targets not just educational but enjoyable ways in learning these concepts through inter-school and nationwide competitions. May game trivia din.
Ang tanong na ito ang tagal bago nasagot.Nagpapatunay lamang na ang mga simpling bagay,at mga nararapat na pagtutunan ng attention ay nababaliwala kung minsan.Ang sagot dito ay tubig. Kung minsan nakakaligtaan nating uminom nang walong tubig sa isang araw.Katulad ko,pagsubrang nalibang sa harap ng computer,kahit uhaw na uhaw na tinitiis ang uhaw,dahil libang na libang sa aking ginagawa. Pagsumakit na ang ulo don ko na marealize na dehydrated na pala ako ...Hahay pasaway ka Angie ha. I'm so HAPPY personally I was privileged to attend such inspiring and meaningful event.
